Your Online Self Assessment and Quality Improvement Plan Tool

The National Quality Standard for childcare services is now broadly adopted and it has never been a more important time to ensure that your child care service meets the required level of compliance.

What is the best way to do this? By using the System7 child care assessment and rating checklist. The child care quality improvement plan form, available online for child care services around the country, helps childcare educators report on the current level of compliance. You will gain a greater understanding of your gaps and where you need to make improvements.

Once you begin working through the child care assessment and rating checklist template form your progress will transfer into an organic quality improvement plan, otherwise known as the ‘QIP’. You then refer to your QIP to manage continuous improvement of your child care service and meet or exceed the Elements of the National Quality Standard.

How Does the System7 Child Care QIP Help?

The System7 child care quality improvement plan online report assists child care educators around Australia meet National Quality Standard compliance. All you need to do is work through each element module which, as you progress, becomes your organic QIP.

Find and fix the issues that are preventing your child care service from achieving National Quality Standard compliance. As you continue to work through our online process, you will be creating your formal Self Assessment Report and Quality Improvement Plan Submission.

  1. System7 gives you the ability to begin from any Quality Area, to save your progress and return when convenient. You’ll always know where you’re at!
  2. You can record your own comments and strategies as you go, reflect on our suggested solutions and generate a Self Assessment Report.
  3. Submit issues, document strategies, add images & timelines. Once underway it becomes a printable QIP ready for submission.

What our users have to say

System7 has made a significant difference to our Service and how we update and implement our Quality Improvement Plan. We have found it to be easy to use, it's saved us time and helped us confidently work through the Assessment and Rating process.

What our users have to say

Basically, we would not have achieved the ‘Exceeding’ rating at all without the assistance of System7. The Assessor told us that many Services have been operating for over 10 years and still have not been able to achieve this result. A big thank you!

Before you use System 7 for the first time we recommend that you watch the User Guide videos and read each of the ‘frequently asked questions’ below:

  • How do I sign up for the free trial?

When you click ‘Sign Up Now’ you will be directed to a checkout page to submit your contact details, Username & Password. Then onto a payment page to add card/PayPal information.

In the final days of the free trial you will be prompted to either continue OR cancel. If you decide to remain a member you don't need to do anything apart from continuing to use System7.

Our preferred supplier for online transactions is eWay. They provide the option to have your payment debited from a credit card, debit card or your PayPal account.

Once completed, you’ll be directed back to the home page. Click on the 'DASHBOARD' link next to the rocket ship at the top right of the page. This will open the program.

  • How often can we use the program?

You can use the program as many times as required.

System7 has been designed so you can complete an entire self assessment of all Quality Areas. Each year you can tweak and adjust as situations change OR you can do a full reset and start again. (NOT RECOMMENDED but if you choose to do so, you will be prompted to generate a full report and download a PDF of your previous self assessment before clicking the reset button.)

Your Quality Improvement Plan data WILL NOT be deleted via the reset function as it forms an organic, ongoing process. You can amend manually as you go so you always maintain a current position.

  • Do I need to be connected to the internet?

Yes - System7 has been built for convenience so you can access your latest audit from any location. We utilise the most secure cloud based servers available to ensure your information is safe and private - yet accessible.

  • How often is content reviewed and updated?

The management of content, guidance and regulation adjustments to support a successful 'Assessment & Rating' preparation will be vigorously maintained.

The program is owned and managed by the Childcare Centre Desktop team. The efficiency and effectiveness of System7 is of paramount importance to us and our investment is ongoing.

  • Can I use it on my Smartphone or iPad?

Yes - the design is based around the iPad format but will automatically adjust to match your preferred system.

What Separates the System7 Child Care Assessment and Rating Report?

National Quality Standard assessors have always spoken of the inability of other child care assessment tools to help Services reach compliance. System7, however, makes the finding and troubleshooting of compliance issues simple.

Our child care QIP form continues to receive outstanding reviews from child care educators who say they were challenged to reach the required standard before System7. Higher standards are something we all want to achieve and System7 is here to help you get there now.

Our system is suitable for after school care, before school care, early child care, family day care, out of hours school care & vacation care centres.
